Welcome to Missionary Ventures Great Britain and Europe.

We are an international mission organisation and a UK registered charity committed to preaching the gospel and making disciples to impact the nations for Christ.

Our mission is to provide Christians and churches with great opportunities to get involved in what God is doing around the world.

We do this in three main ways

sending short-term mission teams overseas, raising up short and long term missionaries together with administrating and raising funds for programmes and projects.

for your sponsorship. Your support will give these children a hope and a future.

Melinda with Nursery School childrenWe would like to share a heartwarming, unforgettable moment from a day at the nursery school. In the morning, the children sing: "I brush my teeth, I wash my face, and I run to school. I run to school." One day, we asked the children, "Could you run all the way to America too?"

The Three Stones Project

Life here has been very busy working in many areas of Uganda.

KAMWENGE

The course in Kamwenge has now been successfully completed.

The reports and evaluations are showing that the participants are realising the impact of the teaching in seeing their increase in disposable income. Fortunately, they are using the money wisely buying more land for family food production, paying school fees, and setting up income generating activities.

LUWERO

In partnership with another NGO the course has been successfully completed in Luwero with 10 people from 10 villages being trained (100). Later this year we have been invited back to teach people in the area responsible for the water supply.

Potters Progress

The last few months have flown by and I cannot believe we are into April. I am still amazed at all that the Lord has done for us, many challenges still lie ahead but God is always faithful.

Cooking Classes

Currently, our classes have doubled and we are amazed at the spiritual growth in our lovely ladies, they continue to amaze and surprise me. The other week Prudence, one of the ladies, came to me and suggested we take up a collection each week to help with ingredients as she said, "We don't want you to become poor helping us." it really made me laugh. They have also made up their own cleaning truster to make sure we leave the room spotless. It is wonderful to see them take ownership of these classes. I really want to not only help, but empower these women (with the Lord's help) and give them the confidence to face the job market and life with it's challenges.

Together with good friends in BeirutMiddle East
I was in Beirut recently, my friend Emil from Damascus came over and we had a great time together. The situation in Syria is as everybody knows nothing but terrible, but the situation for my friend and his Church is that they are doing better than ever. The Church is growing a lot. They meet for prayer every morning at 06.00 o’clock, and his home is packed at this time. As a Church they meet every Friday from 10.00 am to (14.00) 02.00 pm. Emil said my home is very small now as they are like sardines in the living room at this time. They now have meetings in three other homes simultaneously.
