1. Relationship and Collaboration
We aim to listen first. Every ministry flows from friendship, honour and walking with people like Jesus did.
We are a team of people joining The Father in His work in the UK and the nations
MVGB is a family of believers joining the Father as He calls sons and daughters back to Himself.
Through Jesus, God has opened the way home for every person, and He invites His Church to carry the message of reconciliation to the world.
We exist to help believers, churches and leaders hear the Father’s heart, share the good news of Jesus, and walk with people as they discover Him for themselves.
We are relational, Spirit-led, and deeply committed to making disciples who make disciples — in the UK, Europe and across the nations.
Helping people know the Father’s voice, come to Jesus Christ, and grow as disciples of him, who make disciples.
To see people, churches and communities encounter the Father’s love, respond to Jesus Christ, and grow as disciples who make disciples by Holy Spirit — in the UK, Europe and across the nations.
To join the Father in His ministry of reconciliation, helping people hear His voice and come home to Him.
We do this by:
sharing the good news of Jesus with clarity and compassion,
equipping believers to make disciples who make disciples,
strengthening leaders, missionaries and churches,
caring for children, families and communities in need, and
building long-term, relational partnerships with trusted local leaders & ministries.
Through the Holy Spirit, we walk with churches and believers so they can confidently live out the Great Commission in everyday life. While we look to share the gospel in our everyday
1. Relationship and Collaboration
We aim to listen first. Every ministry flows from friendship, honour and walking with people like Jesus did.
2. The Ministry of Reconciliation
We join the Father as He calls sons and daughters home through Jesus Christ. Evangelism and disciple-making are expressions of His love.
3. Disciples Who Make Disciples
We believe every believer can hear God, obey Him, and help others follow Jesus. Tools like Discovery Bible Study (DBS) make this simple and reproducible.
4. Local Church and Leaders
We honour and support the local church, indigenous leaders and pastors, missionaries and community leaders — strengthening their God-given calling and vision.
5. Compassion That Reveals the Gospel
Through practical love in action, care for children, community support and responding to urgent needs after natural disasters, we reflect the kindness of the Father and make space for people to encounter Jesus.
6. Spirit-Led Simplicity
We follow the Holy Spirit with open hands, flexible plans and a willingness to say “yes” to whatever He asks. And teach others to live the same life as Jesus.
Joining in the Father’s Work Across the Nations
1. We Share the Good News of Jesus
We help believers and churches share the gospel simply, clearly and compassionately.
Our heart is to join the Father in His ministry of reconciliation — inviting people back to Him through Jesus. Everything we do begins with helping people hear His voice and respond to His love.
2. We Make Disciples Who Make Disciples
We believe every follower of Jesus can help someone else follow Him.
Using simple tools like Discovery Bible Study (DBS), we equip ordinary believers to listen to God’s Word, obey the Father, and multiply disciples in their everyday environments — in homes, communities, workplaces and nations.
3. We Walk With Missionaries, Leaders & Churches
We strengthen pastors, missionaries and community leaders through encouragement, training and long-term relationship.
Whether in the UK, Europe or overseas, we provide pastoral care, practical support, and relational partnership so leaders can flourish in what God has called them to do.
4. We Care for Children, Families & Communities
We partner with trusted local ministries in the UK and nations to serve vulnerable children and communities with compassion.
Through practical care, education, crisis response and ongoing support, we help people experience the Father’s kindness in ways that open hearts to the gospel and create space for disciple-making to grow.
Walking with People Across Nations
MVGB works through long-term relationships with trusted local leaders in the UK, Europe and across the world.
We do not lead from a distance — we walk alongside pastors, missionaries and communities who are already faithfully serving and sharing the Father’s love where they live.
Our partnerships are built on honour, humility and shared faith, reflecting the relational nature of the gospel.
Below are some examples of the nations where we journey with friends and fellow workers:
Walking with church planters, evangelists and community leaders as they share Jesus, disciple new believers and care for families in need.
Supporting the Baltic School of Ministry, encouraging young leaders and helping local churches grow in disciple-making and mission.
Partnering with believers who bring practical warmth, food, encouragement and then give bibles to children in schools bringing the hope of the gospel.
Standing with a ministry that shows the Father’s heart to vulnerable children every day through care, education and consistent love.
Responding through partners to emergency needs, offering practical help and spiritual support in times of crisis.
Supporting local churches and ministries offering compassion, prayer, relief and the good news of Jesus during times of instability and hardship.
How We Join the Father in His Work
1. Rooted in the Father’s Heart
We believe mission begins with the Father saying, “Come back to Me.”
Everything we do flows from His love for people and His desire to reconcile sons and daughters to Himself through Jesus.
2. Relationship Over Programmes
We walk with leaders, churches, missionaries and communities in long-term friendship.
We listen first, honour local voices, and serve in ways that strengthen what God is already doing on the ground.
3. Disciples Who Hear and Obey
We encourage every believer to hear God for themselves and take simple steps of obedience.
Tools like Discovery Bible Study (DBS) make disciple-making accessible to anyone who wants to join the Father’s work.
4. Local Church and Leaders First
We believe lasting transformation comes through leaders who know their people, culture and community.
Our role is to support, encourage and equip them — not to replace or overshadow them.
5. Holy Spirit-Led Simplicity
We hold our plans lightly and follow the Holy Spirit boldly.
Whether responding to crisis, encouraging a leader or mobilising a team, we move with openness, flexibility and faith.
A Journey of Love, Calling and Relationship
MVGB is part of the Missionary Ventures family — a global movement committed to making disciples, empowering local leaders and seeing communities transformed by the love of the Father. For over 27 years, this MVGB movement has grown through simple obedience, relational mission and the faithful work of ordinary believers.
MVGB began through friendships, church partnerships and a desire to join the Father in what He was already doing among the nations. Over the years, MVGB has sent teams, supported missionaries, encouraged pastors and walked with ministries in Europe, Africa, Asia and beyond.
Today, MVGB is led by a small, dedicated team with a big heart: to help the Church step into the ministry of reconciliation — sharing the good news of Jesus, making disciples, strengthening leaders and caring for communities in need.
What began as a handful of relationships has grown into a family of believers, churches, missionaries and partners who share one desire:
to see people come home to the Father, through Jesus Christ, in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Behind everything we do is a small team with a big heart for God and people.
A team serving the Father together
MVGB is led by a small but dedicated team of people who love Jesus, love the Church and carry a heart to see people come home to the Father.
We serve together in humility, simplicity and friendship — trusting the Holy Spirit to guide every step.
Darren and Susan carry the Father’s heart for people, discipleship and mission. They lead MVGB with a focus on relationship, encouragement, disciple-making and walking alongside leaders both in the UK and across the nations.
Luther and Sandy help shape vision, strengthen relationships, and support MVGB’s development. Their wisdom and passion for discipleship bring stability and depth to the ministry.
Gordon ensures our finances are stewarded with integrity and care. His behind-the-scenes work enables ministry to flourish and support to reach the right people at the right time.
Nick and Bridget provide creativity, encouragement and practical help — especially in communication, messaging and supporting Darren & Susan in day-to-day ministry.
Anthony connects people, churches and opportunities across the UK. His heart for mission and disciple-making helps others step into God’s calling with confidence.
Rob has served faithfully in India for many years, helping build long-term relationships with pastors, communities and ministries. He leads with compassion, courage and deep love for the people he serves.
MVGB is strengthened by many volunteers, champions, supporters and partners — people who give, pray, encourage and walk with us as we join the Father in His work around the world.
Connected to a worldwide movement of disciple-makers
MVGB is part of Missionary Ventures — a global family of believers, churches, missionaries and ministries serving in more than 100 nations.
For over four decades, this movement has grown through relationship, obedience to Jesus, and a passion to see disciples made everywhere the Father opens the door.
As the UK expression of this global family, we share the same heart:
to honour local leaders,
to equip the local Church,
to support missionaries,
to care for vulnerable communities,
and to see the gospel transform lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Our global connection gives us strength, accountability and shared wisdom — while keeping our work deeply relational, simple and Spirit-led.
We are one family, many nations, one mission:
joining the Father as He calls His children home from everywhere.
How we will walk with you, and with everyone
We commit to serving with the Father’s heart — with integrity, humility and compassion.
Whether we are supporting missionaries, leaders, equipping believers, caring for communities or sharing the gospel, we want every person we meet to experience His love through us.
We will:
honour God’s Word and follow the Holy Spirit,
listen before we act and build relationship before strategy,
support and strengthen local leaders,
make disciples who help others follow Jesus,
steward every resource with prayerful integrity,
and remain faithful to the ministry of reconciliation He has entrusted to us.
We are here to walk with believers, missionaries, churches and nations as the Father calls His children home.
This is our joy, our calling and our commitment.
We’d love to see how we can partner with you as we join the Father in His ministry of reconciliation to the world.
