Help Us Provide New Mattresses for Students
At the Baltic School of Ministry, we’ve been training up young Christian leaders from around the world since 2009. Founded by missionaries Daniel and Damaris Pedraza from Argentina, there have been over 300 students come through our doors, each one passionate about deepening their faith and serving others.
Today, we need your help with a practical need: new mattresses for our students.
Our current mattresses are over 20 years old and long past their prime. We’re aiming to raise £3,000 to replace them all and ensure that our students can get the rest they need to thrive during their time with us.
Our Students
This year’s group of 18 students have left their homes behind to join us here, ready to grow in their faith and leadership skills. They’re here for a season of biblical training and discipleship, and we want to make sure their living conditions reflect the care and support they deserve. The students come from a wide variety of countries, including: Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Poland, Argentina, France, Netherlands, England (London) and Russia
Why New Mattresses?

It’s simple – the mattresses we currently have are just plain worn out. After two decades of use, they’re no longer providing the comfort our students need to get a good night’s sleep. And we all know how important sleep is for staying focused and energised
We’re asking for £3,000 to cover the cost of 18 new mattresses that will make a real difference for our students.
A Place with Deep Roots
Before the Baltic School of Ministry came to be, our campus was home to Latvija Bible College, founded by American missionary Terence Hall in 1994. The original college trained 37 students and ran until 2002. Fast forward to 2020, and missionaries Mauro and Julia Martinez 
from Argentina have taken over leadership of the school, continuing the mission of equipping young people for ministry.
We’re not just a Bible school – we’re a community with deep roots in Christian education and mission work. And we want to make sure that our students are well cared for while they’re here preparing for their futures in ministry.
