Bringing Hope & Discipleship to a Nation in Need
Missionary Ventures Great Britain has been faithfully serving in India for more than 35 years, bringing the love and transforming power of Jesus Christ to some of the most challenging regions on earth. This November, from 7–18 November 2025, our India “champion,” R, will once again travel to visit our partners and friends who are courageously advancing the gospel across this vast and complex nation. 
A Growing Nation, a Great Spiritual Need
India is home to over 1.4 billion people and Missionary Ventures currently works in just four of the 28 states — yet even these few states represent a staggering 170 million people. Many live in extremely basic conditions, while others benefit from the country’s growing economy.
However, for Christians in India, life can be very difficult. Persecution and intimidation by radical groups continue to threaten churches and believers, especially in the regions where we work. Now, more than ever, India needs the transforming hope of Jesus Christ.
Faithful Partners, Remarkable Fruit
Despite the challenges, our Indian brothers and sisters remain committed, faithful, and courageous. Over the years, through your support and God’s grace, we’ve seen incredible results:
- Thousands of new believers have come to faith.
- Over 1,000 new church gatherings have been established.
- Hundreds of leaders have been trained and equipped.
- Children’s homes and community projects have transformed lives.
Our current focus is on building a disciple-making movement — disciples making disciples — that strengthens local churches to thrive even under pressure. This model is already producing amazing results and growing strong, resilient faith communities.
The Purpose of This Year’s Trip
R’s upcoming trip is all about encouragement, connection, and empowerment. He will travel to several regions to meet with leaders, visit local ministries, and share love and support with our partners who are serving on the front lines of faith.
This year, we are inviting supporters to partner with us in two specific ways:
1. Young Leaders Gathering – £1,800 Goal
We are planning a two-day leadership retreat for 30 young people — current and emerging leaders in their communities. For just £60 per person, we can give them vital teaching, mentoring, and encouragement to continue making disciples in difficult circumstances. Your gift will help raise up the next generation of Christian leaders in India.
2. India Blessing Fund – £2,000 Goal
This special ‘blessing fund’ provides for urgent and unexpected needs — from emergency food supplies and medicines to home repairs and support for families in crisis. Your donation enables us to respond quickly and compassionately when help is needed most.
