Mission Outreach in Northern Ireland with Noel Mills and a Team from USA
It’s challenging to summarize everything because each day was packed with significant and outstanding events that we will forever remember. THANK YOU for your prayers as we’re certain they were instrumental in seeing marvellous things done in Jesus’ name. Here are a few highlights.
The team from the USA miraculously had their international flight from Orlando International bumped up four hours early so they could ‘outrun’ Hurricane Irma and arrive in Ireland as scheduled. The first miracle!
Noel, our Irish sponsor extraordinaire wrote, “Over 41 years as a minister of … [the Gospel], I have seen many miracles, including the sick healed, paramilitary repent and find faith. Thousands of people find faith. The blind see, the deaf hear and even the dead raised (only once). And most importantly people find love. 14 churches planted.
“BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN IN SUCH A SHORT TIME THE MIRACLES WE WITNESSED IN THE LAST 10 DAYS.
Some minor, some major full in your face including a man with terminal cancer, given 3 years to live, completely healed with documented evidence….”
After testimonies and preaching, people were ministered to and received healing for their souls and bodies. People came to faith in Jesus. (See picture captions below for details of the ministry.)
The team set up in all sorts of places where people gathered. Although we were in front of the public toilets (!) & it was raining in Crossmaglen, we were in the middle of their market. People listened, sang along, and had a cuppa & browsed through clothes in the Mega bus
Crumlin was the setting for a ‘Healing Event’ every evening. We were excited to discover that Jean Neil was there. In 1988, Luther and I took a vanload of youth to a national youth rally in Birmingham, England where the evangelist Reinhard Bonnke was speaking. We saw Jean stand up out of her wheelchair and then run around the building, miraculously healed. Now age 82 and still going strong, she travels the world and sees the sick healed in Jesus’ name.
A Northern Irish evangelist named Graham hosted the Crumlin meetings. Nine months earlier he had been diagnosed with bone marrow cancer, given three years to live. Everyone was praying for him. The day we left Ireland, he phoned excitedly saying a blood test returned, indicating he was CANCER FREE!
Vanessa from Florida, Jean Neil (wheelchair bound & crippled for 25 years) miraculously healed in 1988 prayed for many.
Navan, Ireland was where we ministered Sunday. The USA team took the Sunday school class (one child commented afterwards, ‘this
was the best day of my life!’), Luther preached and Sandy led the worship. Vanessa gave an outstanding testimony of God’s restorative power in her life and many were prayed for after the service.
Sandy and Karleen joined ‘Celtic Cross’ for some toe tapping, hand clapping Irish tunes & Gospel at Darkley House.
Waving ‘bye’ to the USA team from Darkley House and Crossfire Trust project where we stayed in Northern Ireland.
