Anthony Archibald (our MVGB Champion) recently visited Hugo and Salomie in South Africa and came back with a passion to raise funds for Little Eagles ECDC (Early Childhood Development Centre) in South Africa. A pre-school that will help children develop well and fly like eagles!
Little Eagles ECDC was established by owner/principal/teacher Ester Posiwa beginning January 2019. The school is registered with Government as an NGO and have the necessary documents to verify registration.
The pre-school is located in Thako Village in the Bolebedu South Tzaneen. Bolebedu South is located in the Modjadji (Rain Queen) region which accommodates a large rural community.
Presently there are 2 teachers which includes the principal. Ester, teacher/principal, has received training up to level 5. The number of children 
attending are 15 – 20 children but believe this number will grow.

Presently, as you will observe on photos sent, the property has 1 uncompleted brick building for a temporary classroom, temporary shack that serves as a kitchen/storeroom and a temporary toilet for staff.
The vision for the present brick building is to complete and serve as a hall for larger activities, functions and meetings with parents.
As with the previous pre-school Hero Day Care we have committed and arranged with the principal that we would like to be of assistance for the next 2-3 years. We also mentioned to her that we are totally dependent on financial donations to assist the pre-school with projects and programs where possible and can only do what is possible when funds are available.
Presently we have committed to assisting the pre-school with a feeding program with monthly funding received from MVI. From here we need to build a relationship and see how we can assist to devyelop the pre-school into a standard pre-school environment to the benefit of the children.Ester Posiwa
